Since I have been reading the New York Times I have noticed a lot the press is revolved around political situations. A lot of these articles have been catching my interest and has kept me more interested in the news lately. And it is no surprise that most of the news is about politics lately since the elections will take place this November and it has been a very heated race already.
Sports articles also catch my eye often because I like to keep updated on the latest news so I can keep up with my friends whenever they decide to talk about the news.
Something I have noticed though is that I never read the New York Times in a paper copy but rather on the Internet. There are various reasons I think I do this and the main one is for convince. Rather than sitting in class and reading a newspaper, which would be very obvious, you can instead pull up the Times on your laptop in class and read freely. Also this goes all long with the idea that I never have to physically go find the paper and read it because it is always at my finger tips when I have my laptop around.
As for The New York Times changing my reading and writing habits I have not noticed much of a change. I still have a similar writing fashion and outside school still talk about the same things, the only change I may notice is the things I have been writing about in school. My writing seems to have less boundaries lately and have been about my opinion I have about many of the pressing issues today.
